“Walking With Weapons” is a dramatic build from lo-fi bedroom pop into a fierce anthem about the fear of walking alone. With last week’s SCOTUS ruling stripping rights from women and other people with uteruses, it couldn’t have come out at a more appropriate time.

“Weapons” was written, performed, produced, and engineered exclusively by women. The Joes graciously stepped aside so that Ellie & Sarah could shine on this track with the help of Nashville engineer Erika Nalow.
